Refugee Resettlement Agencies Now Pick Up Gift Totes At Our New Don’t Cry…I’m Here Workshop
We had our Lutheran Social Service-Refugee Services of Minneapolis tote pick-up today at the DCIH Workshop. Megan, a co-worker of Margaret Yapp, our connect person from LSS, came to pick them up. It was a pleasure to meet her and learn about the state of the refugee situation right now.

A Delivery Made To Arrive Ministries For Refugee Children From Ukraine and Congo
Here are some photos of our delivery to Arrive Ministries yesterday. Had a very nice talk, the Arrive Ministries Communications Director did an interview with me….and I learned more about the refugee process. This is an amazing learning process for me…. as I learn about the process that the families go through, and the processes of the resettlement offices. The more I learn….the more my passion for this work intensifies.

A Karen Family From Burma Will Receive “Don’t Cry…I’m Here” Gift Totes For Their Children
Here are some photos of today’s delivery of Doll, Buddy Bear and Teen Totes to The Center for Victims of Torture. CVT does the work that most of us could not do….and that is to help these families through the torture they have suffered. They listen and support torture sufferers through everything they have gone through. My heart does flip-flops when we make a delivery to CVT.

Here are some photos of today’s delivery of Doll, Buddy Bear and Teen Totes to Lutheran Social Service-Refugee Services in Minneapolis. It was such a pleasure to meet up with Margaret Yapp to make this delivery for these little Ethiopian, Somali, Congolese, Arab, and Eritrean kids.
Margaret Yapp said that refugee arrivals continue to be more busy for LSS. And that is just GREAT news. Every child that arrives safely in the United States will find a whole new and exciting life….and DCIH is there to give the children a big WELCOME and something to hug that is their very own.
